I’m wrangling this painting onto my studio wall so I can get a good look at it and start to consider its evolution. This is by far the biggest encaustic piece I’ve done 36 x 48! I have some ideas 🔥
In the studio this morning working on a new Cairn series painting 🔥 this bit of video shows the flame kissing a layer of oil stick to fuse it onto the encaustic.
Working on this large acrylic and mixed media on paper piece over the past few months. Lots of layers! It’s satisfying seeing the work framed and hanging on a wall. Swipe to see an example!
The warmth of @rfpaints Indian Yellow is like a slice of light against Turkey Umber Greenish. Two of my favorite colors! This 12 x 12 painting is part of a new series I’ve been working on and I’m excited to have them all up on my website
